MUSIC FOR THE MOVEMENT
"FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS" AND "OR ELSE"
We are turning up the volume on voter engagement for the 2024 presidential election with a unique movement-building initiative that blends culture, activism, and music. We're taking you back to the best parts of the 1960's civil rights movements through song. In partnership with My Block Records, Universal Music Group and Live Nation Urban, the Black Church PAC is proud to announce the release of For Such a Time as This (Anthems for Liberation and Justice) and Or Else — two soul-stirring EPs curated to motivate voter registration and participation. Designed to resonate with both faith-based and hip-hop communities, the mini-albums tap the universal language of music to ignite civic action and urgency with voters to make their voices heard this November.
For Such A Time As This
For Such a Time as This is more than just an album—it's a movement. Featuring some of the most celebrated voices and newcomers in gospel and soul music, this EP is a call-to-action aimed at mobilizing one million voters by connecting faith and civic responsibility. Released as part of Black Church PAC’s "Organize the Church" initiative, this project is designed to inspire and engage communities of faith in the critical task of getting out the vote.
Or Else
The Or Else EP, born from the Mobilize Justice “Vote or Else” campaign, speaks directly to the hip-hop generation, merging music and political activism to energize and mobilize underserved communities. Produced by industry legends like Helluva, Havoc (Mobb Deep), and Playa Haze, Or Else delivers five tracks that reflect the weight of the moment and the power of hip-hop to shape the future of democracy.
